It's estimated that an average of 35.8 million plastic bottles are used EVERY DAY in the UK, but only 19.8 million are recycled with the rest (16 million 😧 ) going to landfill.

But what happens to the bottles that make it to the recycling centre? This video from Recycle Now takes us through the process.
