International Compost Awareness Week takes place from 3rd to the 9th of May 2020. As many gardeners know composting is a great way to turn food and garden waste back into plant food. It’s also great for the environment adding nutrients to soil, reducing the need for chemical fertilisers, producing helpful bacteria that break down organic waste and cut greenhouse gas emissions from landfill sites.
